I'm Anthea and I'm the Community Manager.

What’s the best thing about working at Kavalri Games?

The snacks... I mean the colleagues.... But in all seriousness the freedom, trust and support you get in your work, the company culture, the enthusiasm and the drive from the whole team.

What about your job do you like the most?

The connection I have with the community and the creative freedom.

What's your favorite gaming memory?

My grandmother gifting me my first gameboy Pokémon game - Yellow - for my birthday. I was extremely happy. I still have that game, reminding me of my grandmother and all the fun I had with it.

How did you get into games?

My older brother showed me a lot of games, I believe he was the biggest influence.

If you were a character in an RPG, what would be your main positive vs. negative trait?

Positive: I'm Dutch +10; Negative: I'm Dutch -12.

If you were given a billboard for many people to see, what message would you put on it?

Please for the sake of this world, do not give me a billboard.

Do you have a weird and unexpected hobby?

I have too many, but one of them is making mushroom plushies.

What advice would you give yourself ten years ago?

It's okay to have insecurities and you can talk to people about them.

What book would you give to everyone if you could?

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen because everyone needs some period drama in their life.

What's the weirdest thing you believe to be true?

So I'm totally stealing Walters answer: that there is life in space.

Best purchase of 100$ or less?

Snacks, and lots of them.

Do you remember the time you laughed the hardest?

I laugh hard in general, everyday.

Tea, the real good stuff, not the bags, don't go for the bags. Get a nice blend and enjoy your life.

All of them, enjoy all of them. They are beautiful.

What scares you?

Horror; I'll sit in the corner scared and crying and will sleep with the lights on for two months after watching or playing it.

Cats, dogs, or both?

Both, and every other animal on this planet.

Favorite dish?

Banana pancakes with watermelon on the side all the way every day!

Favorite Lord of the Rings movie?

All of them, just watch them in one go as one big movie. Problem solved.
